CUYFC COMMITTEE MEETINGS

We held Committee Meetings on Monday 14th September and Monday 9th November, where we discussed our ongoing response to COVID, and pitch-side safety as well as building our relationship with the Senior Club, securing grants, and developing new website and welcome packs for new starters.

NEW FOR THE 2020/21 SEASON

FOR OUR SAFETY:

We introduced a number of measures to improve safety in response to COVID:

e-whistles for all coaches, COVID packs at start of the season for all coaches and QR check in codes at CHA for track and trace monitoring.

FOR OUR GOALKEEPERS:

We signed a partnership with GK training sessions on a monthly basis for all ages, providing specialist goal keeper development to all our teams.

FOR OUR WONDERFUL COACHES:

We introduced a Thursday Coaches kickabout at CHA, keeping the coaches skills on point!

We had an FA Affiliate tutor run a 2hr coach development session at half term for all Foundation Coaches

FOR OUR ONE CLUB APPROACH:

We helped the main club out with stewards and ball boys for their games.

As a club we are always keen to listen to thoughts and feedback from parents. The committee, coaches and other helpers are all parent volunteers ourselves but this club belongs to all players and parents, so as we review the club’s Development Plan we want to get your input! Please look out for a survey which will come out early in 2021 as we try to set the right priorities for Chesham United Youth in the months and years to come.
