Club Aims and Ethos

Chesham United Youth FC is an all-inclusive club aspiring to develop and teach ALL children from the local community in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

We want players to have a life-long love for the game, and to reach their full potential both in the game and socially as people.

We are a registered charity and our aim is to promote community participation in healthy recreation, by the provision of coaching, training and playing football.

We are an FA Charter Standard Club which is proven to provide well-run and sustainable football across the local area. We are proud to prioritise qualified coaching and safeguarding as well as the values of the FA’s respect programme as part of our game.

We fully support the FA’s Respect campaign and expect the highest standards of conduct from our Players, Coaches and Parents. Grassroots football is played and watched for enjoyment – win, lose or draw.

The Club has Codes of Conduct for Players, Coaches and Parents (Link to policies section).

We are a club that runs purely on the hard work and collaboration of our Coaches, Committee Members and Parents. We are always on the lookout for new coaches and will support volunteers to obtain the necessary qualifications. Similarly, volunteers to help with the running of the club are always welcome. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.

Chesham United Mini League

Our Mini-League is where it all begins and young children begin their football journey.  We run sessions on Saturday mornings for boys and girls aged 4 (U5 – Reception Class) up to u7s. All levels of ability are welcome.

Our focus is very much on FUN and enjoyment in a SAFE and SECURE environment, helping kids to start to play the game and develop their football skills.

Chesham United Youth Football Club

From u7s, many of our children start to experience playing in matches for the first time. Right up to the u18 age group we have teams playing in local leagues on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

We now also have 2 Adult teams which provide a further opportunity for players who no longer qualify to play Youth Football.
