There was success for both Saturday U11 teams. The Clarets won their section of the Church League tournament following two close matches with Holy Trinity and Kings Church and all deserved the trophies they received for the hard work they have put in this season.
The Blues made their longest trip of the season to meet Thames Valley Youth and were excellent in the first half to go 3-0 up and eventually saw out the game to win 4-3, a scoreline which was probably closer than the balance of play. Everyone worked hard on a very warm morning and deserved the win.
Both teams are now well-placed in their divisions as we head to the end of the the season.
